How It Works
From Consultation to Compensation in 4 Easy Steps!
-
Step 1 : Free Consultation
The first meeting, which occurs in-person or remotely, helps us pinpoint the main issues of your case and get to know you. You then sign the Attorney-Client Agreement to establish our client-attorney relationship.
-
Step 2 : Gather Facts & Evidence
We will work together with you to gather facts and evidence to build your case.
-
Step 3 : Litigation or Negotiation
We will handle all aspects of your case on your behalf and front all litigation costs. We will give you regular updates and inform you of any settlement offers. If no lawsuit is filed, we will negotiate with opposing counsel on your behalf.
-
Step 4 : Compensation & Case Closure
Only when we obtain compensation for you either through a settlement negotiation or a winning verdict at trial can we recover our fees and costs. If we don't win, you don't have to pay anything. You have nothing to lose!
-
The Litigation Timeline
The average case takes around 12 – 18 months to reach resolution. Some cases take much longer, while others resolve faster. Clients may contact us at any time for an update on their case. We will also contact clients directly when there is a material update on their case or if something requires their attention. However, clients should understand that there are often no material updates for months. This does not mean that the case is not being worked on. Rather, there are generally many things happening between our office and the defense attorneys that do not require the attention of our clients. Again, our clients are welcome to contact us at any time for an update on their case status.
